A back boiler is designed to provide your home with heat and hot water and is a great alternative to a external boiler. Unlike a wall mounted boiler, a back boiler is installed behind your fireplace stove meaning you save valuable space in your home. It heats water in a storage cylinder and despite it’s size it is more than capable of providing your home with all the pressure requirements, heat and hot water that you need.

A. Each case is different and your installer will be able to advise more specifically on the amount of time your installation should take.

A. You can heat up to 10 radiators with our triple pass back boiler.
Q. Is the queenstar fire, grate and ashpan included with the back boiler.
A. No these are separate items and must be purchased separately.
Q. what type of fuel can be used.
A. Briquettes, coal, logs and turf.
Q. can a back boiler be fitted onto a sealed system.
A. No, it must be fitted to an open vented system only.
Q. can this boiler be used as part of a dual heating system ie. Oil or gas.
A. Yes, once it is piped correctly and fitted according to manufacturers instructions
Q. Does my boiler need regular cleaning.
A. Yes about once a fortnight.
